In Miyi County and Panzhihua City, the rains damaged 95 houses and 533 hectares of farmland. In Guizhou Province, the rains destroyed 17 houses and damaged more than 5 km (3.11 miles) of highways. The rains stopped in Sichuan at about 15:30, 27 July 2009. Total financial losses were estimated at about 225 million yuan, or US $33 million.
